Route Logistics Specialist

As a Route Logistics Specialist at US Foods, Inc., you will play a vital part in our delivery team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver various food products to customers while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining scheduled delivery times.

• Deliver Customer Orders: Meet scheduled delivery times, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely product delivery.
• Unload Products: Utilize a hand truck to unload items from the vehicle and place them in the customer storage area.
• Manual Lifting: Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
• Frequent Stops: Make frequent stops during a work shift as required.
• Inclement Weather: Deliver products in various weather conditions.
• Verification: Verify delivery of items with customers upon completion.

• Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL License: Hold a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Driving Experience: Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
• Clean Record: No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
• DOT Physical: Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.

• Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $33.34 per hour, based on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
