Position Summary: The Automotive Photographer is primarily tasked with the effective and timely capture of high-quality images of vehicles for the dealership's online presence.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not include direct supervisory duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembles and selects photography equipment based on the subject matter and environmental conditions.
  • Plans the composition, camera positioning, and angles to achieve the desired visual impact.
  • Evaluates lighting conditions and utilizes artificial lighting as necessary.
  • Adjusts camera settings to correct for perspective and other visual factors.
  • Prepares vehicles for photography, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
  • Regularly updates online vehicle images to maintain a fresh and appealing inventory.
  • Ensures all photos are professionally edited and formatted for online display.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participates in ongoing training and development.
  • Accurately records hours worked in the company’s timekeeping system.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Exhibits the company's core values in all interactions.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior experience in photography is preferred, with a focus on automotive subjects.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Technical Skills:

Basic computer skills are necessary for utilizing the timekeeping system and editing photos for the dealership's website.

Communication Skills:

Effective communication skills are essential for understanding instructions and interacting with customers and team members.

Attendance Expectations:

This position requires consistent attendance, with potential shifts including evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands:

Employees must be able to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks, as well as interact with vehicles and customers in diverse environments.
