Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at JLL. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing environmental-control systems in various commercial establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installs, services, maintains, and repairs environmental-control systems in residences, department stores, office buildings, and other commercial establishments.
  • Mounts compressor and condenser units on platform floors, using hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
  • Fabricates, assembles, and installs ductwork and chassis parts, using metalworking tools and welding equipment.
  • Installs evaporator unit chassis or in air-duct systems, using hand tools.
  • Performs general maintenance work, including light plumbing, electrical, paint/patch carpentry, or other tasks.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; trade school education, union training, or military service is desirable.
  • IUOE Local 18 member or interest in obtaining membership.
  • Three (3)+ years of relevant work experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of commercial and/or industrial buildings/equipment.
  • Strong expertise in MEP, especially commercial HVAC.
  • EPA Section 608 Universal certification.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain required NATE HVAC certification (or within 90 days of employment).
  • Located in Cleveland, OH metro area (relocation assistance is not available for this role).
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS).
  • Strong Customer Service & Interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
