Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at Patrick Street Store in Frederick, MD as a Donation Attendant. As a key member of our retail store team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and promoting sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all donors.
- Label donations correctly and efficiently, maintaining a well-organized donation area.
- Offer receipts to all donors, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading items, providing support with merchandise handling.
- Maintain merchandise placement and organization, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and walkie stackers, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Participate in floor care duties, contributing to a clean and tidy store.
- Cross train in other positions as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Model Goodwill Core Values, embodying trust, collaboration, engagement, ownership, and innovation in all interactions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with donors and customers.
- Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Proficient in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
