AGM Container Controls, Inc. is a leading innovator in personal mobility solutions. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Professional to join our team and play a critical role in the redesign of our revolutionary Omeo device. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for enhancing the electro-mechanical functionality of the product, improving user experience, performance, and durability.

About the Role:
  • Design & Collaboration: Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models, simulations, and prototypes for testing and validation, while collaborating with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee fabrication processes and develop methods for testing and inspection of components, products, and systems.
  • Documentation: Generate and modify detailed drawings and solid models using SolidWorks; write clear assembly and testing instructions.
  • ISO Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO Design and Development procedures for all AGM controlled products.
  • Travel: Participate in moderate travel for customer meetings, vendor relations, and trade shows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of mechanical design engineering experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in SolidWorks; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to talk, hear, and sit frequently, with occasional standing, walking, and handling objects. Duties may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The role requires lifting/moving up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Good eyesight (with or without correction) and hand-eye coordination are essential.
