About the Job

We are currently looking for a skilled Second Shift Mechanic to join our repair center in La Vergne, TN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our laptop computer production.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a production or repair environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. A+ Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify defects or flaws in routine parts and/or production
  • Repair or replace parts
  • Use tools and test equipment
  • Disassemble and/ or reassemble units according to work instructions
  • Order correct parts using correct procedures
  • Testing units according to work instructions
  • Inspect products ensure correct labeling
  • Complete paperwork accurately
  • Enter repair data accurately into QMS shop floor system
  • Document and communicate repair issues to engineering
  • Perform data collection and analysis

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year experience
  • Experience in production or repair center
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Access
  • A+ Certification a plus
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to complete projects under tight deadlines

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Overtime as needed
