MVP Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Coordinator to join our team. As a Pharmacy Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our members' care.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to demonstrate effectiveness of the program or identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify, develop, implement, and monitor strategies to maintain and/or improve quality ratings.
- Serve as liaison between Pharmacy and Quality/Quality Analytics and other internal departments for oversight of pharmacy quality performance metrics.
- Provide training and resources to pharmacy and internal staff on pharmacy quality initiatives.
- Responsible for creating, monitoring, and submitting reports in conjunction with other pharmacy team members and other departments using multiple analytic software/programs.
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience in healthcare/health insurance required.
- Two years in a pharmacy or quality-focused related role within healthcare preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing and pharmacy benefit designs.
- Knowledge of medical claims processing and medical benefit designs.
- Excellent analytical skills required.
- Superior attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- Competitive salary range: $44,850.00 - $69,000.00.
