Job Summary

As a Mammography Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality diagnostic images for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of mammography procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for mammography exams, ensuring proper identification and order verification.
  • Operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and effective imaging.
  • Provide patients with information on breast self-examinations and answer questions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including time stamps and image storage.

Requirements

  • ARRT registration and current Rad Tech license in the state of practice.
  • Meet and maintain mammography specific ACR & FDA/MQSA requirements.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in imaging or mammography.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, standing, walking.
