**Salary and Benefits**

**Job Responsibilities**
* Assist experienced dentists in providing exceptional patient care
* Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
* Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
* Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
* Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
* 3-5 years of previous dental assisting experience or relevant education preferred
* Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in dental software and technology a plus
**Requirements by State**
* Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays required
* Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays) required
* Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays required
* Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification, and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations
* Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification; if you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it
* New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training required
* New York: Not applicable
* Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays) required
* Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners
