Dietitian II

The Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages with nutrition-related needs.

• Assess nutritional needs and develop comprehensive nutrition care plans for patients
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education to patients and their families
• Collaborate with the medical team to establish nutrition-related goals and develop individualized nutrition care plans
• Document nutrition care plans and monitor patient progress
• Coordinate cross-coverage and manage multiple demands simultaneously
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards related to time management, supply management, productivity, and accuracy of practice
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors
• Promote individual professional growth and development through mandatory/continuing education and skills competency

• Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
• Two (2) or more years of clinical nutrition experience or one year of employment with career ladder criteria to maintain level II classification
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Proficient competency in nutritional care and skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
