GI Technician

About the Opportunity

Covenant Physician Partners is seeking a skilled GI Technician to join our team. As a GI Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

About the Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or GED, and experience as a GI Tech/Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or sterile processing tech. Current Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it prior to starting work is required. One (1) or more years of experience as a GI/Endo Tech is preferred. Experience processing equipment used in surgical procedures and setting up procedure rooms and trays is also desired.
