Key Responsibilities- Perform routine carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Conduct regular checks on heating, air conditioning, kitchen, laundry, and maintenance equipment to identify and address any issues.
- Install and repair various items such as curtain rods, toilet paper holders, tile, screens, window glass, doors, wiring, and plumbing fixtures.
- Check and repair electrical appliances, motors, pumps, fire alarm systems, thermostats, doorbells, and buzzers.
- Repair locks, make keys, and ensure the security of our facilities and property.
- Assist skilled tradespeople on major projects as needed.
- Working knowledge of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as handle simple mathematical problems.
- Ability to determine malfunctions of electrical and mechanical equipment and make simple repairs.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand schematics.
- Ability to set tile, finish concrete, and plaster, as well as perform tuck pointing.
- Willingness to travel with reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use a wide variety of hand and power tools.
