  • Perform regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the site to identify any potential security threats or unsafe conditions. Assess situations and make informed decisions on the appropriate course of action.
  • Maintain order on the premises; respond promptly to emergencies, including fire hazards and threats to safety, in a calm and effective manner. Address any inappropriate behavior or violations of policies to protect guests, staff, and property.
  • Document all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies that occur on site.
  • Monitor the area for unusual activities; report any suspicious behavior or alarms to the on-duty supervisor via radio.
  • Conduct surveillance and report any suspicious individuals or packages.
  • Implement a variety of comprehensive security measures and countermeasures as required.
  • Adapt physically to the changing demands and priorities of the site.
Education and Experience:

High School diploma is required (some college education is preferred).

Qualifications and Skills:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role is required.
Valid NYS Guard License is mandatory.
8-hour and 16-hour security training certificates are necessary.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance is essential.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and environments is crucial.
Must maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards.
Reliable transportation to and from work is required.

Weekend availability is essential.
