Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team at Zaxbys. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extend a warm greeting to all guests and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Explain menu options and answer product questions for guests.
  • Enter orders accurately into the POS system and process payments.
  • Operate the cash register and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Present orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Thank guests for their business and encourage repeat visits.
  • Generate additional sales by suggesting menu items to guests.
  • Stock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with prepping drinks and preparing items such as sauces and salads.
  • Responsible for cleaning guest areas and removing trash.
  • Answer telephone calls and take orders over the phone.
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years old to apply.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Ability to work 10-25 hours per week.
  • Completion of in-store training program.
