Job Title: Structures Mechanic - Heavy Lift Helicopter Fleet
Job Description
Aerotek is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team in a MRO Environment. As a Heavy Lift Helicopter Structures Specialist, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, and reassembling heavy-lift helicopters, primarily Boeing CH-47 airframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy-lift helicopters, including Boeing CH-47 airframes.
- Review task cards, read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to remove, inspect, fabricate replacement parts, repair, reassemble, and document.
- Frequent removal and installation of standard and blind rivets, drilling/reaming/riveting to close tolerance with an eye to countersink depth.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in aircraft structures.
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in a heavy lift helicopter fleet MRO and rebuild hangar environment.
Work Schedule:
A 5-day schedule for several weeks to start (8am - 4:30pm), then will move to a 4-day schedule (6am - 4:30pm), either Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri.
