Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Groundskeeper with Gloucester County. As a key member of our Facilities Management Department, you will be responsible for maintaining the county's grounds and ensuring they are presented in a professional and attractive manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and seasonal landscaping tasks to develop and maintain county grounds.
  • Use a variety of procedures, power and hand equipment, and supplies to maintain lawns, shrubs, flower beds, and other green areas.
  • Exercise independent judgment in completion of tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with the Grounds Technician to ensure effective maintenance and upkeep of county grounds.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
