Job Summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support sales efforts at a floorcovering store. As a Floorcovering Installation Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floorcovering customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sales efforts at a floorcovering store, servicing wholesale customers.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing floorcovering installation plans to meet sales and profit goals.
  • Assist sales representatives in field measurements, including cut sheets, seam diagrams, and product specifications.
  • Ensure all customer orders are accurately measured and cut.
  • Perform on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle installer transactions through the store's computer operating system and maintain accurate records.
  • Determine floorcovering installation training needs and provide training as necessary.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products.
  • Previous experience installing floorcovering.
  • Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
