Position Overview

We are partnering with an exceptional school district to fill a contract Special Education Teacher position for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with high school students, providing individualized support and instruction to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans for students
  • Providing instruction and support in a variety of settings, including classrooms and small groups
  • Collaborating with other educators and support staff to ensure student success
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction as needed

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
  • Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in state of practice
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
