Material Handler

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team in Ankeny, Iowa. As a Material Handler - Assembly Line Specialist, you will be responsible for reconditioning heat exchange plates. This includes removing old rubber gaskets, power washing the plates, testing for cracks or holes, washing and drying the plates, gluing new gaskets, transferring them into an oven, and packaging for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Remove old rubber gaskets by hand or using liquid nitrogen.
• Power wash plates to clean them.
• Test plates for cracks or holes by spraying them with a material and using a black light.
• Wash and dry plates after testing.
• Glue new gaskets onto plates and transfer them into an oven for adhesion.
• Cool plates and prepare them for shipment.

Requirements:

• 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Self-motivation.
