About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Mammography Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mammography equipment and perform various procedures to produce high-quality images.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, following radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or graduate from a certificate program in Radiologic Technology.
  • No experience required, but a strong foundation in radiography and mammography is preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Constant standing and walking, with frequent use of vision and depth perception.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to communicate with patients and colleagues.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of patients, with occasional lifting of equipment and supplies.
Professional Certifications
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Radiographer, Licensed certification from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
  • ARRT-M Mammography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
