We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and reliable patient-centered care with support and supervision of an RN.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage patient care with ongoing assessments and vital sign monitoring.
- Administer medications as ordered by the provider.
- Provide evidence-based patient education starting at admission.
- Document daily progress toward care plan goals.
- Complete bedside procedures, such as foley catheter insertion and dressing changes.
- Provide discharge education and review instructions with patients and/or caregivers.
- Document in the electronic medical record.
