BayCare is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our community.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will be responsible for assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatment. You will also be responsible for:

  • Collecting patient histories and performing routine lab procedures
  • Preparing specimens for transport to the lab and following up on test orders
  • Providing and maintaining patient education materials and maintaining medical equipment
  • Creating and maintaining patient electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Complying with all OSHA and CLIA regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Approved Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire date or proof of active license/certification
  • Or EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician)
  • Or Paramedic
  • Or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
  • Required High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred 2 years Medical Assistant experience
