About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Clinical Oncology team at St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Boise, Idaho.

Job Overview

This part-time (0.6 FTE) position involves working 3 days a week, with a flexible schedule that includes Wednesday and Friday, and a third day to be discussed. The successful candidate will not be required to work nights, weekends, or St. Luke's observed holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on nursing care for pediatric oncology patients by administering high-risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the chemotherapy infusion center.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers, nurse navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, social workers, and other allied disciplines to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Cross-train to triage and primary nurse areas, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Nursing Degree and current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
  • No less than one year of pediatric RN experience, preferably in pediatric oncology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute.
