Position Overview

This role requires flexibility in scheduling based on operational requirements.
Compensation for this position starts at $12.50 per hour, in addition to an 18% commission, which may vary according to experience.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional and tailored customer service to each guest, providing treatments such as facials, waxing, makeup application, and body therapies with a high level of expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver the utmost level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor with all guests and colleagues.
  • Engage in professional and friendly conversations with guests.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of various skin types, enabling the analysis of skin conditions and the recommendation of appropriate treatments and retail products for home care.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a cohesive work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and team meetings.
  • Provide consistent and professional treatments in accordance with training and certification standards.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and products utilized.
  • Clearly communicate and articulate the spa's offerings and services.
  • Assess and customize treatments to meet individual client needs.
  • Recommend and promote additional services to enhance guest experience.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to guest requests.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and education.
  • Work independently for extended periods as required.
  • Adhere to all protocols regarding treatment setup, execution, and cleanliness of treatment areas.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
  • Ensure the spa's appearance is polished, maintaining cleanliness and uniform standards.
  • Be comfortable working with guests in various states of undress.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods (up to an average of 9 hours).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion and passing of State Board of Cosmetology examinations.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Aesthetician in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment; must possess enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is diverse, fast-paced, and driven by deadlines, requiring the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to last-minute requests and changes.

NOTE:

Preference is given to members of the Ak-Chin community and other recognized Arizona tribes.
