Job Title: Psychiatric Travel Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Travel Nurse to join our team at a 76-bed behavioral health facility in Connecticut. As a Psychiatric Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and evening hours. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience, a B.S. in nursing or equivalent, and BLS/CPI certification.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Document patient information and communicate with the healthcare team
