Job Title: Nocturnist Physician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nocturnist Physician to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a Nocturnist Physician, you will be responsible for providing medical management and care to patients in the Medicine Inpatient units. You will also be responsible for medical management of patients awaiting admission to Medicine Inpatient Units in the Emergency Department and Designated patient hold areas.

Responsibilities:

• Medical Management and care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient units
• Medical management of patients awaiting admission to Medicine Inpatient Units in the Emergency Department and Designated patient hold areas
• Attend to consultations and referrals as needed
• Provide education and training to resident, medical student staff and junior members of the medical team
• Collaboration with facility-wide departments as required
• Participation in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Current or pending NYS license
• Active DEA license
• Cultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferred

Benefits:

• Annual Base Salary: $193,418* (board eligible); $199,220* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week
