Position Overview:
As a Mammography Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting diagnostic mammographic examinations with precision and care, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear guidance and addressing any inquiries.
- Operating and maintaining mammography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with quality standards.
- Assisting Radiologists in interpreting mammograms and preparing diagnostic documentation.
- Maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Staying informed about advancements in mammography techniques and technologies.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mammography Technician.
- Certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Proven expertise in mammography procedures and equipment operation.
- Exceptional patient care abilities, demonstrating a commitment to a compassionate and supportive environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
