The Opportunity

As a seasoned DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee a team of cloud architects and engineers as they manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions.

With access to our internal innovative labs, you will have the opportunity to further your skills and explore different ways of solving our clients' challenges. Whether helping to develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components, you will have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of cloud architects and engineers as they manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions.
  • Apply your skills and experience within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks.
  • Use cloud service providers to further our clients' meaningful missions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with systems engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure.
  • Experience with command line in Linux or UNIX.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Batch, Bash, or Python.
  • Knowledge of DevOps pipeline tools and technologies, including Docker, Chef, Jenkins, Ansible, or Kubernetes.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • AWS Associate Certification.
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD).
