The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare meals according to specific dietary requirements, community protocols, and food safety regulations, under the guidance of the Food Service Director. Additional tasks may be assigned by community representatives. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control policies while maintaining the standards set by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.
Education & Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation principles. Compliance with state-specific food handler training is necessary.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrated capability to execute verbal and written directives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff in fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Competence in observing proper safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours based on position requirements.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
- Prior experience in long-term care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Full-Time position available.
- Schedule: 5 days a week.
- Hourly wage: $15.50.
