Responsibilities
The Clinical Excellence Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for the hospital's Infection Prevention program. This includes conducting surveillance, analyzing data, and reporting findings to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will also engage with Employee Health leaders to provide input on policies and procedures for the hospital Employee Health Program. Additionally, this role will require collaboration with various departments to develop and update area-specific policies, procedures, and practices pertinent to infection prevention principles.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, with a Master's Degree preferred. A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a clinical setting is required, with 5+ years of experience in a leadership role and 5+ years of experience in Infection Control preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is preferred, and certification in Infection Control (CIC) is required. The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
