Position Overview

Role: Nurse Anesthetist PRN II

Summary:
As a skilled nurse anesthetist, you will deliver essential clinical services under the guidance of a supervising physician.

Your responsibilities will include administering various anesthesia types to ensure patients are pain-free during surgical interventions, fracture manipulations, deliveries, and other medical procedures.

You will also undertake additional tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments.
  • Formulate comprehensive care plans.
  • Execute the established care plans effectively.
  • Review and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately.
  • Provide health education to patients, families, and significant others.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.
  • Exhibit leadership within the clinical setting.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities.

Qualifications:
Education:

Minimum requirement includes graduation from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.


Experience:

Must be insurable by a recognized medical malpractice insurer for the limits mandated by the institution or state.


Licensure and Certifications:

Must possess CRNA, ACLS, RN, and PALS certifications.


Special Skills:

Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
