Job Summary:

The Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor is a critical role within the State of Florida's healthcare system, responsible for overseeing nursing personnel and ensuring the highest level of care for residents in forensic facilities and institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular meetings with subordinates to discuss performance, provide feedback, and set goals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address resident needs and concerns.
  • Monitor and report on resident care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide nursing staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
