Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Lead to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Housekeeping Lead, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and inspecting the performance of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Provide quality service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail and ensuring assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly.
  • Resolve Guest Complaints: Resolve internal/external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction and document call offs and replacements for any shift.
  • Coordinate Staff Breaks: Coordinate assigned staff breaks and prepare and distribute assignment sheets to staff and review priorities.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Check all equipment used by staff for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness, and mechanical problems and instruct designated personnel to correct deficiencies.
  • Conduct Staff Training: Conduct staff training as assigned and contribute to the team by exhibiting professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
Requirements
  • 1 Year of Previous Housekeeping and Managerial Experience: 1 year of previous housekeeping and managerial experience is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with staff, guests, and management.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is crucial for this position.
