Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Regency Redmond Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with food preparation, including washing and sanitizing dishes
• Ensure that condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees
• Maintain infection control standards

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain Food Handler's card
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
