Job Title: Retail Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at The Cannabist Company. As a Retail Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our patients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and education to customers regarding their individual marijuana needs.
  • Assist patients in selecting the correct medication for their specific illness and medical condition.
  • Provide excellent customer care and support the Company's core values and culture.
  • Work closely with dispensing facility leadership to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure all intake forms and other paperwork are properly completed and filed correctly.
  • Confirm patient purchase limits prior to admission into the consultation area and dispensary.
  • Manage patient records through the use of state and company databases.
  • Fulfill customer orders and maintain a high level of integrity and trust for specific products.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Two years of direct customer service experience required.
  • Retail experience a strong plus.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sales systems.
  • Understanding of and experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook.
Additional Abilities:
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use hands to perform manual tasks and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to speak and communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc.
