- Licensure: Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Texas.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
- Education: Hold an Associate degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
- Knowledge and Adherence: Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Physical Demands: Possess physical endurance and the ability to work primarily in a standing position, with the capacity to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Professionalism and Accountability: Demonstrate a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, family members, or other staff members, and maintain accountability and attention to detail when handling and documenting important medical information.
