Director of Tax Job Description

IDR Healthcare is seeking a seasoned Director of Tax to lead our tax operations in a hybrid work environment. This role will be responsible for managing tax compliance, audit, research, strategy, and planning for domestic and international operations, as well as income tax provision and internal and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage internal preparation of domestic and international tax filings for corporations and partnerships
  • Handle tax audits, queries, reporting, and deliverables
  • Manage transfer pricing policies and related documentation
  • Support M&A transaction activities, oversee tax due diligence, develop tax strategy and structural planning options, and coordinate tax process integration
  • Provide strategic tax advice in relation to new ventures, projects, and contracts
  • Monitor new lines of business, acquisitions, and products as it relates to tax implications in multiple taxing jurisdictions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA Certification and/or Masters in Taxation
  • 5+ years of related income and indirect tax experience in public accounting or large multi-national public company tax department
  • 7+ years in tax leadership role developing high-performing talent and directing high-performing teams
  • Experience with OneSource Income and Provision Tax software (preferred)
  • Experience with Tax Research Software (Bloomberg, CCH, Checkpoint) (preferred)
  • Experience with BNA Fixed Asset Software (preferred)
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Software (preferred)
