Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Physician to provide locums coverage at a hospital in North Dakota. As a locum, you will be responsible for providing 24-hour call coverage with hospital rounding in house for 8 hours procedures and rounding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform colonoscopies, biopsies, polypectomies, proctoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, hemorrhoidal banding, upper GI endoscopies, PEG esophageal variceal banding, and dilation procedures
  • Manage acute GI bleeds and lesions
  • Provide ERCP services
  • Round on patients and provide consultative services

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
  • Active North Dakota medical license
  • IMLC or DEA certification
  • BLS certification
