Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in filling prescription items, adhering to state board of pharmacy regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment, adhering to procedures and regulations
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure accurate medication packaging and labeling
  • Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications
  • Fill exception trays with the correct medications
  • Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through various workflow stages
  • Count and fill prescription vials, affixing labels on bulk prescription items
  • Pack and ship completed orders, printing and affixing labels on dispenser and shipping boxes
  • Sort and triage boxes for shipping at the right time
  • Support the distribution manager and pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
  • Package medications for dispensing and delivery
Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted in-State Board of Pharmacy License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor
