At Wesco International, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Accounting team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial due diligence activities, coordinating with third-party specialists, and ensuring the quality of accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and conduct financial due diligence activities, focusing on Controllership related processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead third-party specialists to support financial due diligence efforts.
  • Review Income Statements and Balance Sheets to assess quality of accounting practices and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Business Development Team and the Controllership Group.
  • Assess internal controls to identify gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assess accounting systems to ensure they provide the necessary data to support a public organization.
  • Provide leadership over controllership resources and support transaction activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Auditing, Transaction Advisory Services, or related field.
  • 4+ years of management experience.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting processes and techniques.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to new responsibilities and lead strong business relationships.
