Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse, Emergency Department to join our team. As a critical member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- BLS certification required; ACLS may be required in designated departments.
