LPN Opportunity at Hastings Senior Health & Living

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Hastings Senior Health & Living, a 5-star rated long-term care campus in the south metro. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for residents.
  • Recognize and manage common geriatric syndromes, including cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory, and pain problems.
  • Supervise work performed by TMAs and Nursing Aides.
  • Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitor for effectiveness/response.
  • Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
  • Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Current MN LPN license and good standing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Skills in problem definition and resolution.
  • Ability to focus all efforts toward quality resident care.
