Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Position Overview:
The firm is looking for a talented and ambitious Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to handle a variety of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability claims. In this role, you will work closely with experienced attorneys and play a key role in developing and executing case strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in insurance defense cases through all stages of litigation. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed memoranda on complex issues. Advocate for clients at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings. Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients. Negotiate settlements and manage case files with efficiency and accuracy. Provide clear and timely communication to clients, offering expert legal advice and updates. Stay informed about current legal developments and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the California Bar. 2 years of experience in insurance defense or a related practice area (preferred). Proven litigation skills and experience handling complex cases. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
