The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional care for patients experiencing acute health issues in a critical care environment. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and addressing patient needs through the nursing process.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications.
- AHA certification is required.
- Deliver direct patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Delegate tasks to nursing staff and supervise their performance.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Participate in professional committees to enhance nursing practice standards.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure in New York State or eligibility for a limited practice permit.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
This position requires a commitment to a 13-week contract with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Physical and Sensory Requirements- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
- Proficient in manual tasks such as typing and filing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
The position will be conducted in a standard indoor healthcare setting, requiring mobility and sensory skills to ensure high-quality patient care.
