At Monte Nido, we recognize the complex medical, emotional, and psychological challenges faced by individuals with eating disorders. Our holistic and multidisciplinary approach allows us to effectively treat patients dealing with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorders, along with co-occurring addictions and mental health issues. Our established care model, skilled multidisciplinary team, and nurturing environment uniquely position us to provide comprehensive treatment for eating disorders at all recovery stages, from intensive inpatient care to various residential, transitional, and outpatient programs.

We are looking for a per-diem Registered Dietitian to become an integral part of the Monte Nido team. The Registered Dietitian plays a vital role within both the leadership and clinical teams, collaborating with various disciplines to ensure optimal care for our clients. This role may require travel to additional locations for support as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee meal preparation for clients and ensure proper documentation.
  • Ensure all nutritional services comply with established standards and regulations.
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and monitor clients' nutritional intake.
  • Participate in the development of the Master Treatment Plan with the treatment team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
  • Possession of the Registered Dietitian credential or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
  • CPR/BLS certification required prior to employment.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Commitment to excellence in client care.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
