**The Opportunity**We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within the warehouse or on-site.
  • Receiving and Distribution: Receive, store, and distribute products in secure areas as directed by management.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of received and shipped materials, including dates of transactions and other relevant information.
  • Quality Control: Inspect shipments for quality and accuracy, verifying accompanying documents for correctness.
  • Logistics: Confirm shipping details, address any discrepancies, and expedite shipments impacting production schedules.
  • Transportation: Operate various vehicles to transport materials, supplies, and finished goods as needed.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or formal training preferred
  • At least two years of experience driving forklifts/combi-lifts required; narrow aisle order picker experience a plus
