Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including repairing flooring, drywall, and appliances; troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety and security systems; and maintaining HVAC systems.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the appearance of our properties, including landscaping, gardening, and cleaning.
  • Unit Turnovers: Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments to ensure they are in proper operating condition and appearance upon move-in.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment owned by the apartment community, including proper storage and maintenance of maintenance shops and storage rooms.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English; basic computer skills; and ability to wear a respirator.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials; work in a fast-paced environment; and be able to work at heights.
