Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

Job Summary:

StarVista is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to provide strength-based, family-centered home-visiting therapeutic services to at-risk families in San Mateo County. The ideal candidate will have experience working with underprivileged populations, particularly those with issues related to abuse, family violence, and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of family needs and provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to address those needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including case management, assessment, advocacy, and coordination of services.
  • Collaborate with other staff and community partners to provide culturally sensitive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed care.
  • Maintain timely and clinically appropriate documentation of all services provided.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled supervisory team meetings and trainings.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Social Work, Professional Clinical Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Clinical license or license eligible (registered with BBS).
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • HR clearance required, including TB test, and Department of Justice Live Scan Fingerprint clearance.
  • Valid CA Driver's license, working car, proof of auto insurance.
