Maintenance Director

The Maintenance Manager position at TekModo LLC is a critical role that requires a strong leader to oversee the maintenance team in a 24/7 operation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with excellent people, time management, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead maintenance staff in emergency repairs of production equipment during production
- Supervise the installation and maintenance of production machines, plant facilities, equipment, buildings, and vehicles
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
- Source parts for equipment
- Create department budgets and preventive maintenance calendars
- Advise the executive team on special projects
- Provide regular feedback to department employees
- Ensure staff is cross-trained and consistently increasing job knowledge
- Focus on safety and continuous improvement
- High School diploma required
- Technical or trade school graduate a plus
- Minimum of three years of management experience
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Reliable and great people skills
- Experience using Excel and project management software
- Hands-on experience in planning maintenance operations
- Applicable knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
- Familiar with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Fluent in English
