Job Title: Shift Manager

Job Summary:
As a Shift Manager at Moe's Southwest Grill, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service and that our food and labor costs are under control. You will work closely with the General Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve our company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all guests receive a friendly and welcoming environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Control food and labor costs, minimizing waste and ensuring that all purchases are accounted for.
  • Assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving company goals, including recruiting and training staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction, working closely with the marketing team to promote our brand and products.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-casual environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing food and labor costs, with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive work environment.
